Welcome to Yeti Academy !

Our group ski lessons, located in the heart of the Tarentaise region in Savoie, are specially designed for intermediate level children, offering a progression adapted to each child thanks to our different levels. Supervised by qualified and passionate instructors, your children will be able to improve their skiing skills while having fun and discovering the magnificent Alpine scenery. Yeti Academy is the ideal place for your children to develop their confidence on the slopes and create unforgettable memories.

 

In Yeti 1, courses run from Sunday to Friday, mornings from 9am to 11:30am and afternoons from 2pm to 4:30pm or 2:30pm to 5pm (depending on the period chosen).

 

From Yeti 2, the courses are organized as follows :

Morning course : 

  • Sun, Mon, Tue, Fri from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • On Wednesday there are no classes
  • Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (day in Italy, bring money in your pocket for the meal)

Afternoon course :

  • Sun, Mon, Tue, Fri from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. (depending on the period chosen)
  • Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (day in Italy, bring money in your pocket for the meal)
  • On Thursday there are no classes

 

High season : December 21 to January 4 / February 08 to March 08 / April 05 to April 15

🏅Medal ceremony,  in front of the tourist office, on Friday at 6pm. The medal is included in the course fee !

📝 Participation conditions

  • Your child must be 3 years old minimum.
  • All children are welcome! Please let us know if your child has a disability in order to adapt as well as possible
  • Minimum number of children: 4 (if this number is not reached, the level cannot be created. You will be notified 48 hours in advance).

🔎 Our method

  • Instructors will harmonise groups at the start of the week.
  • "Continuous assessment" rather than stressful end of week exams
  • All our instructors speak English.
  • Our small groups of a maximum of 8 children respect their rate of progress.

Our children took ski lessons this week with Hugo (yeti3) and Baptiste (super yeti). A wonderful discovery! Our children have never loved their lessons and their teachers so much. The lessons were great (with one day off and one full day in the middle of the week, learning how to use avalanche transceivers, introduction to off-piste skiing, varied and fun routes) in small groups. The children were delighted and so were the parents. Many thanks again. We'll definitely be back.

We've just returned from another fantastic week with Evolution 2 La Rosière. This is our 3rd holiday with them. Our children finished the week of Yeti 2 lessons. Their instructor Pierre was fantastic with them! They were really looked after and really loved it. Their ability improved a lot after the week. They had morning lessons and on Thursday, they crossed the Italian border for a full day, including a pizza stop! It was incredible for them.

We were welcomed very warmly. Solutions were quickly found so that my children could both ski in class in the morning. Top instructors (Steeve for the littlest Valentin for the biggest) I recommend +++. The ski trip in Italy is very much my son's favorite. The two ski instructors were very patient and educational.
